For those of you who normally skip the best ofs because you've heard all of the XM shows, you might want to tune into the best ofs they are doing right now. It appears that R&F are now able to use audio from the WNEW shows. In fact, if you tune in right now, you can hear a discussion on airline baggage handling with Al Dukes. Check it out.
This is great! Ronnie just read one of my instant feedbacks....from 6 years ago!

This is great!
My wish is that they would dedicate a channel to the bit where they were discussing Jesus as a modern day athlete.
I could listen to Ronny go on about Lefty the rest of my life.
But for now, I'll listen to the WNEW best of's.

man, that's one slow internet connection you have!!!
Ha! Tell me about it Devo!
I can't tell you how much I miss instant feedbacking. It was the best.
I'd IF under a ton of different names, and sometimes the names were part of the joke.
I never told Ron or Fez that I was all those characters, and I never will just in case they bring back Instant Feedback one day.

Two things really stood out in the recent old best of's...the Al Dukes days really were a Golden Age of the show. And I REALLY miss Instant Feedback! Not that I've ever been let down by the show, but I.F. added somuch to the show.

Yeah I wish it was there too, but I can guess Ronnie's logic and just imagine how much worse the XM callers would be if all the good callers started IM'ing instead.

If theyve freed up WNEW replays a couple of days before ONA return is there any reason to maybe hope for an expanded RNF pressence on 202?or 203? Or am I only hoping?

They've had it. Earl used it for best ofs back in December on the FreeFM show. I'm guessing they just got permission to use this stuf on the XM show from CBS.

maybe CBS does not care since they are not competing in the talk segment anymore.

I just turned on the Directv about 30 minutes ago and it was WNEW. Al dukes producing. They just played a Earth 2 after a break and now Sat. of Love to end the replay.

can someone who's listening let us know when the NEW stuff is back on. I'm not sick of the XM stuff, but when I know I could be listening to NEW shows, that I haven't heard in so long it makes me not dig the XM stuff as much.

Pepper Hicks strikes again.
Made for a great morning. Looking forward to the rest of the week.
Just so she gets a mention here,Liily has really picked up her game form those first months, not just show casing her organizational skills, now she's working the production angles too.

I record on the MyFi from 12-5am. I got three fantastic WNEW segments last night. The best was when they were trying to guess what invention was 100 years old... It was something Fez uses every day... As you can imagine the guesses from the callers (and Ron) were hilarious!
Great job Earl!!!!!

After listening to the replay, i have to point out that Pips(?) did say it was him and lilly, but then after lilly left, he stayed until 3am with Earl working on it...
Wouldn't it be funny if Earl gets some award for longest running bit in R&F history for his, not working stereotype bit?

Love the 'NEW replays. It really was the "golden era."
Fez minus the stents is SO energetic. I love it.

I am LOVING today's best ofs...Al on a forced date...Billy running through Central Park...water balloons...great stuff. And the musical guilty pleasures segment is giving me that warm fuzzy feeling deep down in the cockles.

"I'll give concert tickets to anyone who'll stab Billy to death" Ronnie B.
" Is that Billy breathing or the horse" Fez.
2 lines that nearly made me crash my van today, these WNEW replays are gonna fill E-lo's mail box up with requests for Big Ass 203. I think the Buddays have proven themselves more than worthy and capable of carrying a channel, Free the bandwith bitches!

HAHAH, I just heard myself on the "guilty pleasures" songs segment.
The only and only time (that I got through) that I was on the show.
Extreme - More than words.
So surreal to hear myself all these years later. I think that segment was from 2002....

Those old WNEW shows are unbelievable. i wish there was a way we could hear them all not just the Best Of's but the everyday shows. If only Ron and fez had there own channel and they had a special WNEW time slot.
