Does Anyone Out There Think That We Can Make Enough Noise To The Xm Execs To Get Our Own Channel. I Dont Know How Everyone Else Feels But I Have Loved Having Ron And Fez 24/7. Maybe If We Bothered E-lo And Wicki Enough We Can Make A Difference

In Initial Cap-Eze, One Also Capitalizes The Letter That Comes After A Dash, So It Would Be E-Lo.

Other Than That, F_S Agrees With You And Would Love a 24-Hour Ron & Fez Channel!

There have been constant complaints over time from O&A and R&F that XM corporate's reason for no new channels or more programming is lack of "bandwidth"...

It costs alot of money to beam these shows back and forth to the satellite of love...

NO. I love Ron & Fez, obviously, but variety is always better. O & A and R & F have a nice fraternal amenity going on...and there are plenty of R & F fans who dig both equally, like yours truly here.

It would be great if the boys could get their own channel. I love being able to turn the boys on at any time and the best ofs have been entertaining, especially the WNEW shows. I still like O&A but it would be a perfect world if they both had their own channel.

Attention O&A Fans,

There's so much speculation on the blogs and fan sites about O&A's return that we thought we'd take a minute to give you the facts directly.

During Opie and Anthony's XM suspension, they continued to broadcast on CBS Radio; and, we have compiled the "Best of" O&A's CBS shows from the last few weeks for you.

Starting Monday, June 11th through early morning June 15th, we'll air these "Best of" O&A CBS shows at multiple times throughout the day for our listeners across the country. We'll also air Ron and Fez live, and we'll re-air that program throughout the day as well.

The Virus, Channel 202 Schedule Starting Monday, 6/11 (all times are ET):
6:00 a.m.: "Best of" CBS (NEW)
9:00 a.m.: "Best of" CBS Replay
12:00 p.m.: Ron and Fez Live (Noon)
3:00 p.m.: "Best of" CBS Replay
6:00 p.m.: "Best of" CBS Replay
9:00 p.m.: Ron & Fez Replay from 12 noon
12:00 a.m.: Ron & Fez Replay from 12 noon (Midnight)
3:00 a.m.: "Best of" CBS Replay
6:00 a.m.: NEW "Best of" CBS (NEW)

This schedule will repeat until Friday morning at 6:00 a.m., because, as previously announced, Opie and Anthony will be back on XM live at 6:00 a.m. ET on Friday, June 15th. And the Virus channel's normal programming schedule will resume.

Thanks a lot Black Earl. Since you couldn't be fucked to actually make decent best ofs until Pepper Hicks took over, XM gave up and now have to play O&A all day again.

I was really enjoying this week, with old best ofs in the morning and afternoon. I've never listened to 202 more in the 2+ years I've had XM.

We really need to push XM to get R&F their own channel. There are a lot of channels they can do without.

I just hope that XM will give the boys a little more prime time replay. I can't hear the live show at work, and It's hard staying up till midnite to catch the replay. I think a replay around 6 or 9 pm would be great. Just my 2 cents!

Going to repost my thoughts here...

while a 24 hour R&F channel has been HEAVEN for some of us, I'm not expecting or even wanting that. Ron and Fez have proven their worth long before this went down - XM should man up and give them

1 - a 4 hour time show
2 - a better timeslot and/or
3 - better weekday replay(s)

I bought XM to listen to O&A but have grown to love R&F too. The problem is that there isn't an even split. O&A get the best times and the most replays while Ron & Fez are just stuck in.

IMO they should each get 3 replays in a 24hr period, but that isn't going to happen. Especially since R&F would have to go back to the 11a-2p slot and one of the O&A replays would split the midnight hour. For some reason XM can't do that.

I sent an email to them with this request. I have really loved the all ron and fez all the time format. I really hate the times they are put on because I work so I cant catch the live show or the replay most of the time.

Back when R&F were on CBS I sent an e-mail asking if XM would play the show and was told XM was wroking on getting R&F their own channel. I expect that to happen the same time we visit another planet.

Personally it really doesn't matter to me because I have an Inno, but ideally there should be more equitable air time for both. R&F only having 3 hours mid-day and one replay at midnight is really short changing them. I'd love to see 4 hours 3 - 7. Just alternate with O&A.

I have really enjoyed the last 3 weeks. I really enjoyed hearing some of the old stuff during the best-ofs.

I would love for R&F to have their own channel, since the replay schedule is really short changes us R&F fans.

Ideally, I would love to see both O&A and R&F have their own channels and then I can just switch back and forth as I want to.

I would love to see R&F get there own channel.... but how much does it cost XM to stream another channel to the sat (not like they could'nt get rid of some of the crappy music channels). Me personally, I think that XM is a little "worried" about the so called "extreme" talk shows with all the crap that has gone on in the past month or so. I just don't think they are ready to take that big step any time soon. I have been a R&F fan sense they have been on XM. Hell, for that fact i have been a fan of Earl, ESD, Pit.., and a fan of the ROOSTER!! Your good on the mic and good when put on the spot man, keep it up...good future ahead of you! BTW fezzy killed today!!

I would love to see the ratings for 202 for the past three weeks and see the difference (if any) in the number of listeners. judging just on ten or so people i know with xm i'm guessing the ratings to be about the same, which could be a surprise to the xm execs, who i'm sure were expecting to lose a lot of the ratings, especially after the initial rush of cancellations by the pests.

Amen! O&A are funny at most for 5 minutes, and then you realize it is the same stupid jokes again and again and again and again. Mr. B is the quickest and funniest guy I have ever heard. Mr. B you are a genius.

Then a 30 minute break between FM and XM shows since they do not do the walkover any more, start broadcasting at 9:30 or so and leave at 10:45. So we are getting ripped off on the XM side. 2 hours 15 minutes FM + 1 hour 15 minutes XM = 3 hours 30 minutes MAYBE total over a 5+ hour time frame. Opie is a liar and unfunny.

Guess I'm going back to my 9pm west coast replay and hope that O&A get suspended again real soon. :sad:
If you have an INNO or MyWare, you can record the show live. It's better to listen to with all the P.A.D. data changing, so you can actually see what the topics are. IMO

They play the same clips for weeks that were barely funny the first time; Susan Waldman being excited about Roger Clemens is the one they are beating into the ground lately. 6 a.m.; an unfunny CBS replay, 9 a.m. replay the previous replay, 12 noon: best 3 hours on radio, 3 p.m. replay of the replay of the replay that wasn't funny live last week. Christ, why can't XM realize there is more to life than O&A??

if i had an inno this wouldn't be a problem, but i never realized how much i rely on the replays...this past month i've loved listening to the buddays whenever i wanted...i also realized that i hardly ever listened to O&A except for maybe a few min on the way to work...so basically, the replays dictate my listening habits...now i really wish they both had their own channel so i could listen whenever...but then again I'm selfish

I really didnt like ron and fez until the o & a suspension.. but now since they have been playing non stop the show has grown on me... I do hope they get their own channel or that O & A share more air time.

once there were proper r&f best ofs from shows i had never had the opportunity to hear (ie wnew) i was totally hooked on the idea of a r&f based channel......while i do think that o&a and r&f compliment tremendously well, i also wonder why they are the only two "XTREME" talk shows i can listen to on XM......why not have them both anchor a channel and get some more cavalry to back them up....there is no way there arn't a few other shows around that would work well on XM.....i liked the hideout boys on freefm very much for the brief period of time they were on.....something like that would be wonderful - the more shows the better i say.....or at the very least better time set-ups so that i don't hear what i heard driving to work as what i hear driving home......

I agree... the first bit I heard from the CBS replays was them riffing on old cigarette ads which they have done a million times before. I got XM for NASCAR, stayed for O&A, fell in love with R&F. The last 3 weeks have been highly enjoyable.

I really feel that XM would like to give them their own channel but there are too many unknowns with the merger. I think it would work out if R&F got their own channel with The Hideout as a support show and O&A keep 202 with another support show coming on board. If only we ran XM.

I never really noticed how much of an arogant, legend in his own mind, pompous ass Opie was until I didn't have to listen to him for a few weeks. Having Ron & Fez on for 24 hours was great. I miss the regularly scheduled R&F show because I'm usually getting loaded or unloaded during that time. I can only pause 45 minutes with my SkyFi2. Having the replay immediately after their show was great. Opie - too cool for the room Ron & Fez - Greatness

There are so many useless channels that could go and be replaced by 24/7 Ron and Fez. The last month has been awesome. We have become so spoiled with all this Ron and Fez that it's now going to be difficult to go back.

Having O&A suspended was great, nothing better than 24 Hr Ron & Fez. Even with Earl playing the same best offs 4 times a week was still better than Opie and Anthony. I cant stand those guys. I swear Anthony sounds just like Howard Stern, not to mention the shit they talk about is boring.

I'd like to see The Monsters of the Morning and Ron and Fez merge onto one station and Lez & Terry and O & A can rot another.
