we all probably wnet through a phase where we watched all the horror movies the basement of our local videostore held (or mega Corpo-Video place) and finally began to no longer be afraid of but embrace Freddy, Jason, Chuckie and those horror characters that didn't last past one movie.

Anyway, of all those you watched, there was probably one horror flick that you watched more than others. Rented like every week even if you didn't see it. I know I'm young but mine was the 'It' miniseries.

Ooh! I love that show! But I've never seen anything on that show that convinces me anything ever really happens. All I see and hear are people freaking out and saying they feel hot or cold spots.

I alove all that paranormal stuff!

The Evil Dead films! They're classics. I love them dearly.

Speaking of "horror" themed reality shows, I'm ashamed to confess that I miss "Fear" on MTV. I mean, it was cheesy as hell, but some of the places they went to (like the abandoned prison or the asylum) had great atmosphere.

for me it was rosemary's baby.

one night i rented it with my cousin. i was 14.

i watched it twice that night and then i rented the movie again, and again and again.

i still rent it from time to time.

i should just buy it.

i know everybody's into dvds these days, but i think i might just start my own vhs collection of movies i enjoy watching.

i can start with some of godard's films, some french "new-wave" or whatever- wave films, and then i can make my way into some cult films.

yeah.

The one I probably watched more than any other was " Return Of The Living Dead ".
It had that horror mixed with comedy thing going on.
It also had a cool soundtrack and the characters kicked ass.
The Friday The 13th series was watchable, but I was a big fan of Halloween, especially part 2.

I have balls !!!

If you want real horror check out Pasolini's "Salo".

Scariest movie when I was younger is by far, The Exorcist. That movie still creeps me out like hell to this day.

I don't remember the hotel one. I remember one in one of the many British castles-- the "hidden" cameras showed a chair move by itself! (I know, I know, easily done with string, but I'd like to believe anyway!!)

Horror films in Hotels?
Remember "Horror Hotel", starring Christopher Lee? A classic that is probably one of the best witchcraft films ever. Other "Hotel" films: "Motel Hell", "The Shining", "Psycho", that's all I can think of now.
