The problem is I really dont know what I want to study and i dont wanna take out a loan and start classes without a true direction and destination. Im just tired of working hard labor jobs for too little pay, i want a career that can set me solid so I can stop living check to check

Make sure you check THIS (http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/what010.htm) out. They can give you a shit load of money, and you don't have to pay it back.

Thats the main reason I stopped going to school. I didnt know why I was going anymore and didnt want to sink more money into it. I wish I had some direct or a career I was interested in.

I wouldn't waste my time or money going back to school if I didn't have a clear sense of why I was going back.

My chick just went back to school. It took her like 6 months to settle on a major, but she picked one and couldn't be happier. And look around, the goverment has so many grants that you wouldnt have to pay back ( as mentioned earlier). It really has done wonders for her view of herself as well

Don't let your desire to go back to school die. Jump on it! Take some JC classes if you are worried about costs.

I've been really thinking about going back to school too. Not to start a career, just because I actually miss the college environment. I wish I had taken my classes more seriously when I was still there.

If you are serious I think Pepperdine is the only choice you can make. Seriously a 4 year vacation.

If you can swing it man, go back to school. I'm only like 10 years out of High School and I already wish I had done more with the short time I had to go to college.
I'm not gonna feed ya stupid shit like "It's never too late" because that's bullshit. If you think it's something you want to do and can, do it now.

I graduated HS without any intentions of going to college, as I didn't feel like going to school ever again and didn't want to pay back student loans until I was buried 6 feet below the earth.
4 years later, I'm in college now and it isn't all that bad. Papers suck, but the professors are (usually) real cool about everything.
Just check out schools either in the area, or in the township. Some do give out pamplets of programs for that certain semester, or check out Devry or Gibbs.

MHasegawa - Without knowing anymore about you than what you've posted here, my suggestion is business or marketing. Especially if you're willing to stay in your current industry. I got my bacholers a year ago at 36 because I was sick of heavy lifting and being at the shit end of every decision. All the money and time is a great investment. Good luck.
