This Is A Very Interesting Case. F_S Is Actually Surprised That The Law On This Is Not Yet Clear. Fat's Understanding Has Always Been That A Libelous Statement Is One That Is Both (A) Untrue And (B) Malicious. Apparently, That Is Not (Yet) The Case On The Internet.

As An Anonymous Board Character, F_S Is Concerned And Is On Side A Of This Case. As A Human Though, If Some Anonymous Person Made Up Lies About F_S And Posted Them Maliciously Of The Internet, He Would Want To Track Them Down And Punish Them. So He Is Also On Side B.

Back in the oldern days of rf.net, 2 certain posters tried to sue/countersue each other for posts on the board. They also tried to drag several members into it to "testify" and I don't think it ever went anywhere.
