It just doesn't have any legs. The moment passed and nobody cared.

There are times to push the issue and times not to push the issue. This was a lame, half-assed attempt at being crazy on Dave's part and it fell flat. It was so lame that Ron didn't even build it up as a bit. Only the Dave-hating callers who want him to suffer no matter what are even interested.

When something else pops up that is a little more "zesty" and good for the show, then we can push for Dave to pay up. This isn't the right battle to fight.

I'm not saying he won't go through with it, just that it isn't a big deal IMO. It was a stupid, throw away bet that was amazingly retarded and didn't get much of a reaction from the show members or the listeners.

I agree with you. But I think when he actually gets the tattoo, the payoff will justify the continued interest. The fact that he has to get a tattoo as the result of something that was little more than a throw away bit on the show is the beauty of it, to me.

But the LAST tattoo show wasn't that great, with the exception of "Lugky boy." It wasn't overly hilarious and Dave didn't really react. He is used to tattoos and didn't scream like a girl (as some thought he might).

I can kind of see your point though - getting a bite in the ass for saying something stupid does have it's merits. I just don't know if the payoff will be that great.
