So im in food lion to get some green tea and as im waiting in line at the register im listening to the convo between the bag boy and the manger at the register. they're were talking about a single blue balloon that was on the ceilingn and how they were gonna get it down so i lose interest in the conversation instantly then zone out. so when im next in line and the manager asks me:

registerlady: I don't know how im gonna get the balloon down.

me: throw a sharp pencil at it.

registerlady: i cant if i do that the bag boy over there will freak out.(bag boy had already gone to another register)

me: your kidding right? well if thats the case why don't you have him go outside or something so he doesn't hear it.

registerlady: i cant do that either cause he'll know that its being popped and he'll still freak out for about 2 hrs. and im short staffed today so i cant risk that.

me: ........................(blank stare) weird never herd of that before.
registerlady: blahblahblahblabh
i pay then leave

so i wanna know if anyone has any weird fears like this one.
mine is clowns, but now that ive gotten older its turned more into a pure hatred for them instead of being deathly afraid and running away now i erupt in hulk like state. for everyone that knows me is wel aware thats its very hard to piss me off i rarely get mad you usually see me wiht a smile on my face. but once a clown steps into my field of vision i become bizzarro chang. im done wiht this im starting to get irritated ....fucking clowns!

I agree that its silly to be that scared of a balloon popping, but throwing sharp objects into the air does not fall into the 'genius idea' category. It was probably better that the irrational fear prevented that action.

no one thought about it being summer and just waiting 2 days for it to fall down by itself instead of trying to be a sharpshooter with a pencil?

the only fear I can think of for myself is to stand on the edge of a tall building. not like the roof of a house, i am fine, but like 10 stories or more i get freaked out

F_S's Fear Is One That He Shares With About Half The Country. Public Speaking! A Nightmare For F_S Would Be That He Is Sitting In A Baseball Stadium Or Huge Arena For A Concert Or Something And Then The Spotlight Turns On Him And He's Asked To Stand Up And Say A Few Words. Eek!!

well if you pronounce your words the same way you write them, then public speaking would be a nightmare...I do not know if I could imagine speaking As Though Every Word Were To Be Pronounced With A Capital Letter As If At The Start Of A Sentence. :)

Naw, In Initial-Cap Verbal, Words Are Pronounced Exactly As They Would Be In Normal Human.

Normal Human.

F_S I thoroughly enjoy your posts, but they definitely point to the fact that you are not, indeed, a Normal Human :)
