Ron And Fez Show Airs Staffer's Wedding
XM SATELLITE RADIO "RON AND FEZ" Associate Producer "EAST SIDE DAVE" MCDONALD and CASEY "ELAN" WHITE were married on the air THURSDAY (6/21) after a whirlwind courtship conducted primarily on the show.
MCDONALD and WHITE met at a show event, and MCDONALD proposed on the air via the highly romantic medium of a webcam; the wedding planning and the ceremony itself were conducted on the air, with the nuptials airing live from NEW YORK's HARD ROCK CAFE. In attendance were noted radio personalities GREGG "THE ACTOR WHO PLAYS OPIE ON THE OPIE AND ANTHONY SHOW" HUGHES, ANTHONY CUMIA, and "LITTLE" JIMMY NORTON, as well as SMITHEREENS leader PAT DINIZIO, who performed at the ceremony, presided over by ANTHONY's sister DAWN CUMIA.
The happy couple -- DAVE and CASEY, not RON and FEZ -- will honeymoon in LAS VEGAS, paid for by XM. Meanwhile, RON and FEZ are on hiatus while XM completes construction of its new NEW YORK studios for O&A and R&F.
