A good stable needs a star, a project, and a tag team...with a manager being optional. Stables are also infinitely better when its heels

If I'm going with the current WWE roster, I'd go:

Chris Benoit - He'd be my star. He's still one of the best wrestlers in the company, and he's believable enough as being dominant in the ring, that people would buy him in the role.

C.M. Punk - Punk would be in the project/IC and US title role. You promote him as one of the fastest rising stars, with enormous potential and ability. And eventually, you build tension very slowly between Benoit and Punk until you feel Punk can be the breakout star, then you turn him face, and give him the big bump up to the main event to take out Benoit and the stable.

Shelton Benjamin & Charlie Haas - They're both great wrestlers, and they both suck at talking...throw them in a stable, and have other people do the talking for them. They'll get over much bigger that way.

Ric Flair - I'd put Flair in the mentor/manager role, and let him do 90% of the talking for the whole stable. The guy is still awesome at cutting promos (when they let him), and he could get every one of these guys much more over than they could get themselves over.


Obviously, with Flair, they'd be tempted to call it a Horseman redo...I wouldn't do that...I name it something different.

For me it would be like K.C. but I think I'd have London/Kendrick over Benj/Haas.

They can be the jokers/tricksters of the group. Of course the others will try and set them on a straight path.
