Surely This Has Been Asked Before, But It Would Have Been Before F_S's Time Here, So He Will Ask Again.

Fat Was Getting His Hair Cut This A.M. And The Barber Said "You Know, F_S, You Are Starting To Get A Bit Thin Up Here" (And He Was Pointing To The Crown Of His Head). "Dear Baby Jesus" Fat Replied.."Why Would I Make It To Over Age 50 With A Full Head Of Hair And THEN Start To Lose It"?? He Said "It Happens".

F_S Asked If He Should Try Minoxidil On The Top And The Barber Said "Don't Waste Your Money, Fat. That Works A Little If You Are 28, But The Older You Are The Less It Works".

F_S IS Very Grateful That He Has Made It To His Advanced Age Before His Hair Started To Thin, And If That's The Way It Is, Then That's The Way It Is.

But Do You Think It Is Worth Trying Minoxidil, Or Should F_S Just Be Graceful And Say "C'est La Vie"????

From what I've heard, it works great for some and not so great for others. It must do some good for some people. It's been a big seller for a long time. I wouldn't really know, though. I have a wonderfull head of hair.

doesnt really work that well. you have to use it for a LONG LONG TIME to see any kind of results, and honestly that shit feels so creepy on your head while its drying.

they have some kind of foam but it doesnt get the same penetration as the liquid (hehe.. i said penetration)

i know a lot of people used to take propecia @ the pharmacy i worked at but.. theres a side effect there.

F_S let me ask, do you like your pecker to work?

then avoid propecia!

I'm on propecia now and have been since February. So far, no side effects. I also use the foam applicant of Rogaine.

Shave the son of a bitch. Bobo gets all the babes.

Its either that, or the ukulele. Maybe you could try shaving your head and take up the ukulele, just to be sure.

No hair restoration will ever have the exact effect you want and will likely cost far more than it is worth..... trust me, how other people feel about your hair loss is dwarfed by how intesly you feel about it. The more you try to compensate, the more you're shining a light on it in the end. My old man wore a rug for years, and even though most people didn't know his hair wasn't natural, he never stopped being insecure about it. This is going to be a bad example, but an no matter how much weight an anorexic loses, it's never enough because the problem is upstairs. I hope that makes sense. The only way to deal with hair loss is to accept it and move on with your life. That's my observation, at least.

F_S Has No Idea What Propecia Is, But He'll Look It Up.

^^That Is Probably The Best Advice. F_S Is Just Losing A Little Hair And Not His Arms And Legs!!! It's Best To Keep It In Perspective.

like they said in the 70's, hair is for pussies.

It works great! Chug down a couple of bottles and pretty soon you won't worry at all about going bald.

It's like tennis elbow. Drop a brick on your foot, your tennis elbow goes away.

But seriously, my wife's side of the family is mainly Italian, and for those uncles and cousins in need of Minoxidal it seems to work well on some, a little bit on others.

Well, Any Anxiety You Or F_S May Have Is Alot Less Than It Would Have Been 10-15 Years Ago; The "Shaved Head" Is Now Cool. When The Time Is Right, We Just Shave Our Heads And All Is Well. For A Time, F_S Considered Doing This BEFORE His Hair Started To Thin, So It Wouldn't Horrify Him To Do It In A Year Or Two.

Look At DerrickFishBoy's Pic...Come On...How COOL Is That Guy!!!!

That Rang A Bell, Cupcake, But F_S Couldn't Quite Place It. So He Did A Search And Hee Hee....

My uncle has used anti-baldness stuff effectively, but I am not sure what brand he uses. I will check for you if you want.

Thanks MM. But After Sleeping On This Overnight, F_S Has Decided It Is Just Not Worth Even Thinking About. Every Guy His Age Has Some Form Of Male Pattern Baldness. It Just Goes With The Territory. F_S Does Not Want To Make This A Stupid Issue In His Life, So He's Just Gonna Not Worry About It!!

Good for you. My Dad did the same thing - He started getting a bald spot in his late 50's. He worried about it for a while, but is now just "F-it."

It also helps that he survived cancer and realizes there is a lot more to worry about than vanity, but the final realization is the same.
