Mermaid Parade 2007

Anyone else go to the Mermaid Parade in Coney Island yesterday? It's the one time of the year when the goth kids let the sun hit their skin, and there's always plenty of sparkly boobies.

i was there. the parade was fun then we saw my friend's band play at Peggy O'neils. we then walked around, played some games, waited on line for a bathroom, tried walking around some more, friends went on CYCLONE, then waiting on line at Nathan's for half an hour for franks and fries.

All is all, it was a great day. I do like Coney Island, too bad it will not be the be the same next year.

Yeah, I know Stu...that's why we went. I love Coney Island, and it's going to be Disney in 2 years, and that really really sucks the big one.

This is why I miss Brooklyn sometimes. I used to do the same thing when I lived in Bay Ridge.

oh, a company named Thor properties has been buying up the land and now that is owns enough (or all) it plans on developing its water front property.
