Little late in posting this, but Little Bighorn is/was one of "those" moments in American History, particularly because George Custer was probably the most famous soldier of his day (people forget about how great he was in the Civil War). Its also one of the most confusing and hard to understand battles to follow, because we really dont know a lot of what happened there, or what the circumstances for a lot of things were (particularly in the case of Major Reno....was he drunk? a coward? crazy? all three?...or what was going on with Lieutenant Benteen?) And theres so much of it just covered in myth (thanks to Custer's widow)
Considering how/what you may feel about the circumstances of the battle, a lot of good men died there, and its important to remember them
