View Full Version : Has anyone tried Alli?

I have a personal interest in keeping fat out of my body or quickly losing fat, for various reasons. So I tried this new pill Alli. It is the only diet pill approved by the FDA (another government agency that has had scandal after scandal under the Bush presidency). It has interesting side effects to include: loose stools, too-frequent stools, uncontrollable bowel movements, or gas with an oily discharge.

I shit regularly twice a day. I run, workout, eat healthy and am in decent physical shape. The last thing I expected was to experience these side effects. I was wondering if anyone else has had any experience with this?

Why Are You Even Taking That Junk?

Their Display At The Local Drug Store Says, Do Not Use This Product Unless:

1. You Are Willing To Eat Less And Cut Your Caloric Intake.
2. Eat Less Fat
3. Exercise More

Well, If You Do Those Three Things You Will Lose Weight And Fat Anyway, So Why Take Chemicals That Are Just Greasing Up Your Innards!?!?!?

Unless You Are Taking This Stuff So That You Are Always Pre-Lubed For Your Boyfriend(s).

Some things stay in your fat cells for a finite period of time. If you could flush out fat at will it would be helpful against unlawful searches of bodily fluids.

Sadly, its only the one boyfriend and I fuck him in the ass, so Im only half a fag.

This is not how the pill works. It keeps your body from absorbing fat from food you eat, it doesn't flush out fat already in your body.

Yes this is the conclusion I have come to as well.

I worked with a woman who took this before it became over the counter. She had these side effects and we could always tell when she had been in the toilet because she left an orange greasy ring around the pot. It was SO gross. :flush:

She did loose weight though. I guess it depends. I doubt it would be good for a low carb diet. I would think you would live in the crapper. Low carb is the only diet that works for me.

The grease will stop after a couple weeks if you take the pill regularly. Then your body will adjust. Patience!

I don't want to go into details on the why Im taking it but I don't think its going to do what I need it to do. I just saw the thread on Favorite Shitting Pastime and had to think my last several experiences have been so unpleasant I can't read my magazine like I do normally http://ronfez.net/forums/showthread.php?t=61183

It is going to be interesting to see if it does what anyone wants it to do. I am skeptical.

One thing you can't blame on bush is the FDA. As much as I miss Clinton the sole reason these violent diarrhea, heart-attack or suicide inducing drugs get fast-tracked was because of Clinton's rampant de-regulation. You can also thank him for direct to consumer advertising, ask your doctor. I do, they're hilarious. If it wasn't for Clinton you wouldn't have to always wear dark coloured pants.

I can't say Ive worn dark colored pants. I dont really feel shame or embarrassment per se. I actually pay women to shit on pieces of glass or glad ware when they sit on my face. Im very comfortable with myself. I was just interested to see who else this has happened to and see how much they charge.

Oh yeah, I totally blame Clinton for de-regulating shit, I mean come on whats that all about?

I get enough of that without a pill

sorry for the long post....

i've tried it and actually i'm still on it (been taking it since it came out.) i don't take it because i'm lazy and eat nothing but bad things for you. i eat a healthy diet of less than 1500 cals a day and exercise 3-5 times a week. i have in fact been to several drs who all say the same thing - my metabolism = someone who can survive famines. I HATE THIS about me! So my dr suggested alli. So far i've lost 8 lbs.

Regarding the messy side effects - you won't get them if you are eating low-fat for each meal. They suggest you eat less than 15grams per meal and only take one pill per meal. you don't need to take the pill if you are positive that what you are eating is fat free. what alli actually does it prevent 25% of the fat you take in to not be absorbed by your system. less fat (1g fat=9g cals) =less calories.

so say you're eating a 1400 calorie diet and 400 calories are from fat. if alli works properly it will not absorb 25% (100 cals). so in actuality, you are only eating 1300 calories a day.

because of this they do suggest you take a multivitamin every day.

Do you notice other side effects other than the one's they have listed? Unfortunately, I would be beside you in that famine doing just fine.

Good luck to you. My mother is the one who actually bought the pills I tried them as a kind of experiment, not for weight loss. She is very nervous after I told her what they did to me. Did you notice any of these side affects and for how long?

Other than that, nope. No side effects at all.

Thanks - I'll need it. Let your mom know that as long as she keeps her fat intake down when she eats, she really shouldn't have any problems (that is MY experience.) I only had to deal with the side effects once and that was the second day I was taking them. Had a family party .. and well.. I'm sure you're aware about what kind of food can be at family parties....
