I'm looking at either the Inno or the samsung equivalent.

Will the Inno/Helix work in my office. I'm not close to a window--maybe 35 or 40 feet away?
(i know this has been asked 1000 times already...)

You'd be better off using XM ONline. If you're having issues accessing at work, there are ways around it, PM me for more details.

They block everthing at work, and if they don't block it now they will figure it out and block it soon.
I'm working at home today, which is the only day I can get on the board.

The SkyFi2 is an outdated piece of equipment. I'd rather get a more modern piece, but that's me. Doesn't help that woot deal is refurbished too.
The Inno price has really come down. And I can definitely recommend purchasing from Myradiostore.com (http://extpromo.myradiostore.com/promotions/s/RonFezNet.MrsHome). Ziggy is a stand up guy who aims to please the customer. Whenever any RF.Net member has had any problems with a purchase from MRS, I personally have contacted Ziggy and he has gone out of his way to fix the problem. Myradiostore definitely has a 100% satisfaction rate amongst RonFez.Net members.

If you don't know the site they only have one thing a day and at 12:00(central time) they have something new. They usally have the best deal on whatever they are selling for the day.
This is just balls cheap so I thought people might like to know. It's also nice to have a post for once.
They also do a good Photoshop contest that some people here might want to look into, they have some good prizes sometimes.

I ordered that deal for my grandmother, I'll tell ya how it went if I remember.
I offered her my Roady2 a long time ago but the idea of having to turn her radio on AND the unit AND have an anternna AND having to learn to tune in a new thing just confused her. It was really just all the fucking wires. The tape adapter was the best option for her because the FM modulator would have just made her head explode.
But ONE central thing that is on it's own will help her out a lot. She powers one unit on and controls it from there. Only wires will be the plug which she understands and the antenna which she now understands has to be in the window because she's been eyeing my mother's XM radio ever since she turned me down for one months ago and my mother took it.
It's a dirt cheap deal and she'll never take it out of the house so I'm not extremely worried about durability since it will sit on her kitchen table.

Amen to that. I just got my SkiFi3 and absolutely love it. The 2G MicroSD slot clinched it for me as well as the external Audio Input. Now I can have my 8-Track directly linked into my XM Aux Input. Sounds pretty good too.

Before I ordered off Woot I checked their bundles and boomboxes. Sorry, they didn't have anything close. I needed a dirt cheap way to get my grandma an XM receiver and I got it.
