Look, I know a lot of old folks ...mostly white, and chickless hate to view thier "metal" heros as thieves, but the ONLY creative thing about led zep was the drunk drummer. Great drummer.

Moe is great. The guy keeps this board entertaining for me like a monkey clown. In fact, he's a lot like "death metal" itself.... predictable and repetitive.. oh lets not forget too cool and XTREMELY angry ...argh! Oi! Meese is a pig... (huh? nevermind you wouldnt understand)
how to start a death metal band:
1- buy a distortion pedal
2 - scream like cookie monster
3- creat a spooky band name with a horrifying font.
4- lets not forget the long hair and black clothes. (just like in pop music, the fashion dept is an important one in death metal) (it's very important for them all to pretty much follow the same dress code... very original boys)
5 - make sure all the tunes are pretty much the same tempo... either very fast or very slow.. NO IN BETWEEN... a backbeat would simply be "queer" -
6- take scary promo pics of the band in a graveyard in comical poses with tongues and fingers extended.
dont worry if your still playing in front of your family and 5 friends after 4 yrs of playing the local metal club... you'll never be accused of being a sell out... because you CANT sell out.
And whatever you do - make sure you show off. Show these loser fags how fast you can play! shred! speed speed speed... and don't forget the dated double bass gimick.
And no hooks. God forbid you write or play something people may remember.
Make fun of others who HAVE made it while you sit in a garage angry at bands like the white stripes for making more money in a week than you will in your life.
