Dont you hate it when you are very friendly with girls, like I have been for several years after a period of shyness to them, and you are just stuck in a role being their friend.

It also could be the fact that I like a girl and I don't say anything to her and she would graduate or just disappear before I reveal I like her more than a friend.

I'm thinking about talking to this girl I met in my first year of college in RI. (I'm in NYC now) We continue to keep in touch, which is rare for me to do with a girl. It's even rarer that a girl CALLS ME BACK. I want to visit her and tell her what I think about her. What should I do? It's been a year past.

LENT - It's sometimes hard to talk to a person about your feelings because their is potential of being hurt.

But the potential for a rewarding relationship is greater than the potential for hurt.

If you don't talk to her, you'll always wonder if you should have and what would have happenend if you did.

If you talk to her you just might find that she feels similar feelings for you or is at least interested in exploring how she feels.

This has happened to me a few times as well. It seems to be the case that if you don't initiate in the relationship you won't get it. If you want to be more than friends you just have to lay yourself out there and say it. It gets harder as time goes along since they only see you as a friend and will be shocked when you tell her you want more.

Take a stand don't be a pussy.

just remember:

confidence yields attraction
while
friendliness yields a friendship.

nice quote deckert
anyways watch swingers. don't be talking about puppy dogs and ice scream. these girls want to party, they want to. let her know that you're money, and you want to party too. make sarcastic jokes about how hot she is or how much you like her, this way it's not a total surprise when you unload it on her. i mean all over her.

it's true,
it's damn true!
