A subsequent search yielded a small amount of marijuana, along with prescription drugs including Valium, Xanax, Vicodin and Adderall, said sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino. There were no prescriptions found, he said.

isn't that a line from "Feel Good Hit of the Summer"?

So now it's ok to bash someone's son's problems because he's a democrat? But whenever people mentioned Cheney's gay daughter in the *relevant* context of the administration's stance on gays and gay marriage in general as underlying a conflict of interest with one of its key figures, that's too low a blow?

Stick it up your assholes, hypocrites (no one on this board necessarily, dunno how any of you felt about the Cheney-daughter thing- this is directed at all those who got holier than thou with Cheney's daughters who now turn around and bash Gore for this incident). Me personally? Joke away. Shit's funny. I just hate moralizing hypocrisy.

Is this the same kid that got hit by the car, causing Gore to drop out of the race for President in 1988?

This wasn't meant to be partisan at all, I just wanted to post the topic and have a few laughs at the same time. Hell If something like this happened to the Bush Twins I would have inserted some funny lines as well

I didn't see anyone BASH Gore for this...a few jokes (the carbon offsets for bail was pretty good) but not bashing.
I kinda feel bad for Al about this, he is a politician who ran with family values and such, just like Bush did, and look at the wild childs that are the Bush girls. Nothing he can do about it, the son is 24 years old and responsible for himself. But as a parent, I would be mortified over my child's behavior if it were all over the news.

Having said that, I have a question:
Did Al Gore III get pulled over on the information superhighway? a gee gee gee gee gee!

Yep. Though the Dukakis juggernaut was a factor too.

i always am split when these stories come out. I feel bad that people judge Al Gore or whoever on what their kids do. Especially when the kids are over 18.

at the same time I feel bad for the kids, because there is no way to have a normal childhood when you have a parent who is famous, esp. someone who is a politician and publicy speaks about what is right or wrong.

most kids make mistakes in life, we are all just lucky no one cares enough about our parents for it to be the lead story on the news.

Well, it was a POS Oldsmobile.

At least it was after the cops pulled it from the water and took the body out.

Is that what he told the cop? He should be let go and the charges dropped on First Amendment issues.
