Is there anything greater in the world than a gatorade bath to reward you for an achievement? Well I wouldn't know cause I've never had one but I want one so bad. Watching two races yesterday really got me thinking about it. Imagine if you do something at work or whatever and all of a sudden your friends come out of nowhere and pour gatorade on you, it would be SO awesome.

Hmmm this gives me an idea for the next softball game.

I enjoy a Dunk where there is a surprize, lots of Staged Gatoraide Dunks out there.

The Gatoraide Dunk is much cooler than the Hot Chocolate Dunk

On a somewhat related note, I hate when I see things that I associate with certain teams/schools get copied by everyone else.

The Gatorade bath started with the '86 Giants. To me, it was their tradition. Now everyone does it.

The Cameron Crazies at Duke started the tradition of jumping down and making noise until Duke scored their first basket. Now everyone does it.

And the 2004 Red Sox did the "mob/jump up and down around the guy who hit the walk off homer" bit. Now everyone does it.

What next -- people starting "roll calls" in Fenway and Wrigley like the Bleacher Creatures at the Stadium do?

yeah, like when princeton (http://www.cheerleading.org.uk/handbook/histyusa.htm) had the first cheerleaders and all the other teams copied them. or when fordham played in the first televised football (http://www.americansportscastersonline.com/waynesbergarticle.html) and basketball (http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/weiss/2006/09/fordhams_landmark_celebrated_o.html) games. no one's original anymore!
