Whats the mutha fucken deal i was just playing around on IMDB
and
i was looking at Jared leto cause he was in Requiem for a Dream and do you know what else he was in
He was in fight club and american phsyco

well any way he was on
MY SO CALLED LIFE
you know that wacky teen show from 1994 that was on abc but was canelced cause i dont think anyone wacthed it
but
it was like the coolest thing in the universe why the hell isnt it still on i even want reruns MTV was playing reruns for a while thats how i saw every episode like twice
but
i want it back so whos with me lets form a mob and take over a small country that will show

i'm in! that was a great show. i remember how upset i was when they cancelled it. whenever i see jared leto all i can think of is jordan catelano leaning against his locker.

unfortunately, this is yet another example of really quality things that the stupid masses and tv executives just don't understand

I never watched the show but I herad it was good. Clare Danes was attractive but has just disappeared and Jared Leto has been in the three of the best films of the past two years (Fight Club, Requiem for a Dream, American Psycho)

freaks and geeks was an awesome show. i didn't get to watch it much, but it was great. i think they still rerun the show on the fox family network. i'm not completely sure.

i've only seen a few episodes of my so-called life and i really liked them. great show.

I'm not too big of a fan of a chick show like that, but I was forced to watch it with my x-girlfriend when it was on MTV. That AJ girl is as close to the perfect woman as I think you can get. Who cares if she's an alkie? Blackout sex is best.

i hate gossip or whatever this is supposed to be, but i went to see ben lee play at the village underground a couple of months ago and claire danes was there.

ben lee is an ok singer/songwriter/guitarist.

Ben Lee kicks ass, and he's a right damn decent guy. Has no problems hanging around and talking it up with fans before and after a show.

And "Life" was a great show, but like all great network dramas, probably would have lost it after about three seasons...I'm kinda glad it went out so perfect...

Dear Fans of the "My So Called Life" Show,

Do you love the "My So Called Life" Show?

Have the rumors of it being cancelled made you a lil anxious? Well, me too.

I feel we have to do everything we can to keep our buddies Claire and Jared here in town. They belong here with all of us superfans.

This is a call to action. We MUST show ABC Broadcasting that New York adore them. WE need their teen angst to remain here with us.

It was a great show, I actually still have almost every episode on tape.

In addition to "Freek & Geeks" (which without even reading this thread, I'm sure somebody has mentioned already), one of the most unjust cancellations was the dumping of "Grosse Point" two season's back.

Great show, as was Jay Mohr's "Action."

Shit like the Steve Harvey show and Full House lingered forever, but shows with substance and promise are routinely dumped. Even "Seinfeld" was almost cancelled in it's 1st and 2nd season.

There's just no accounting for taste.

i loved that fucking show! the girls on the show were hot as hell. the writing was pretty decent, and the acting was surprisingly good, for it being mostly newcommers.

there's a DVD box set!!??!! is it still for sale sheepy? i want one.

That show was great, it needed to be on Comedy Central or FX and been a staple show. FOX was afraid of some of the content and bounced it around so much that you could never find it. Finally put it against Friends to kill it.

Nothing fishy about it. I'm certain it was him. I've met plenty rock stars and actors in my time.
For the record, i crossed paths with him well before he climbed the ladder of sucess. It was around the time of that crappy marathon runner movie he did.

Anyway, does sucess constitute superiority?

As good a show as "my so called life" was, I'd put both "grosse point" and "action" above it in terms of originality and even entertainment.

Not to mention "...life" was a drama, always eaier to write to than comedy.

Did anyone see the subway ads that said there will be a new channel, forgot the name of it but it will have "Shows That Should Not Have Been Cancelled" which includes My So Called Life, Now and Again, Gun and a few others?

I loved this show as well.
