View Full Version : Heros 2
I was watching the old school Justice League today and i noticed there are no Black super heros. Can anyone name one? I can't think of any.

Actually, there were several on and off TV. One of the most famous being War Machine, and Bishop and Storm to boot. Although i agree with you, however that the ratio of White to minority super heroes is a very large difference. Also, in the hit show the "Super Friends" There was a character named Black Vulcan, who was created for the show. Also on the superfriends, there was the super hero named cyborg, and for a season they made the green lantern black. This was for the increasing ammount of black viewers and the diversity they wanted to portray. There was also a horrible japanese character named samurai.

Off the top of my head, I can think of several from Marvel comics - Black Panther, Luke Cage (Power Man), and of course, Captain America's sidekick throughout most of the 1970's, The Falcon.

I don't remember the guy's name, but in the "Death of Superman" comics, there was a black hero who fought Doomsday with Superman.
