I'm gonna go with Nissan Stanza (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/stanza) or Buick Enclave (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/enclave).

Stupid car names infuriate me.

I cannot stand when companies don't name their vehicles and use numbers and/or letters instead. It's almost impossible for me to remember the LX450, the X3, the X5, the LS, the ES, etc.

Are they vehicles or secret codes?

As far as stupid names, the VW Touareg is near the top of the list.

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking straight on this thread.........

Stupid German Cars are nearly impossible to break down so that aftermarket stereos and speakers can be installed. 14 screws where only two are needed. Typical Overengineering that makes a car that should cost 12,000 dollars have an MSRP of 20-30,000 dollars.

Datsun

:king:

I thought Datsun was its own car company and then in the 80's was bought out by Nissan. It then becamse Nissan-Datsun until the late 80's early 90's when they dropped Datsun. I could be wrong, Im wondering myself now.

Why what's your ride?

I just can't stand GM styling, especially their interiors. It's so bland and plastic...they all look like rental cars.

I generally buy a new vehicle every year or so because I get bored, and I've run the gamut from Chrysler to Ford to Toyota to my present vehicle, a 2007 Hyundai Sonata.

After years of owning pickups and SUVs, I wanted a comfortable sedan with a trunk. I compared the Sonata with the Camry, Accord, and the Ford Fusion/Mercury Milan and it blew them all away, both with standard features and roominess. It was also thousands cheaper, and with the way Hyundai has improved their quality the decision was a no-brainer.

I almost went for the Ford/Mercury, but I decided to buy American. The Fords are built in Mexico, whereas the Hyundais are assembled in Alabama.

I always think that of the dodges with the "every model has the same grille" design...just boring and blah.

Mirroring the proud linguistic tryst of the Nova, Honda proffered the above Fitta some years back, which translates as "cunt" in Swedish. The vessle was quickly renamed "Jazz" cuz jazz gets you cunt, but isn't one.

Similarly, the infamous Ford Pinto translates as "cock" or "penis" in Brazillian slang. Ford did not bother to change the name because most Brazillians are into exploding cocks.
