Last weekend, Kent Couch settled down in his lawn chair with some snacks -- and a parachute. Attached to his lawn chair were 105 large helium balloons.

Destination: Idaho.

He almost made it.

A 4 year old child can be lifted by a bunch of party balloons.

It would require such a large number of balloons (3500) to lift an average (44 lb.) 4 year old girl just a few feet off the ground that there is no way the myth could have happened unintentionally.
