Did Yoo-hoo change its formula?

I remember back in the 90s when I was in the single digits every chance I had I would guzzle this stuff. I thought it was the greatest thing on earth. However, in the past few years I have attempted to re-ignite my love for the drink, I was very dissatisfied. Yesterday being the most recent time I tried it. I saw the deli I was at sold it, bought a bottle, and was very under-impressed by its lack of flavor.

So did they change the formula? Or was it never really as good as I thought it was?

Actually, this happens alot. You just grow up and realize the stuff you thought was great as a kid actually sucked. I'd put Reeses Peanut Butter cups in this category as well. The filling is all sugar, there's no peanut butter, or if there is its very little.

Yoo-Hoo is one of my most fond childhood memories. I was around 10 on my first vacation to Florida, when I tried my first delicious non-dairy brown chemical maltshake, Yoo-Hoo. I never forgot it and every time I'm in the states(what you folks call USA) I veer into the first gas station I see to get one. I pound it back like homeless on vodka. We can't get that shit up here. Can you imagine living in a world without Yoo-Hoo?

Also Yoo-Hoo related, remember in Clockers, I always wondered when everyone kept tellin the main dude (tyrese or on of the many fake tyrese's, whoever the actor was) to stop drinkin those malts...

the bottle looked like yoo-hoo, but was it actually malt liquor? I can't imagine drinking too much yoo-hoo would rot your stomach out, chemical maltshake or not.
