For me personally I really don't care about who is an old schooler or who qualifies for it. I think somewhere around when I neared my 10,000th post I started to stop caring about the quantity of posts and statuses, cool kids, h, old school, etc. I just enjoy coming to the board and posting and laughing with friends. I have friends on this board who are here from the very beginning, and friends who joined just recently, they are equally awesome people and I value their friendships above their join dates and anything else.

Technically I think I'm an old schooler myself but it don't matter much. I value the opinions and views of someone new to the board just as much as I do someone here seven years.

And yes I have a Big Ass card. I RULE!!!

I am a new school old schooler. I never posted till I got tired of lurking. The lurking didnt end till the year and a half on the XM show. I used to listen on WNEW but didnt become a huge fan till I herd them uncut on XM...then I couldnt stop listening. So I can say

old-ish-school on the radio. started in 2000, not that anyone cares. one of my first memories of the show (a few months into listening) was the origin of the ani difranco bit. love how they played her crap for some loser who swore it was great and it became one of the best, longest running gags they have.

Joined Ronfez.net in 2006.
First listened actively in 1996 in Fla.
Listened to the Daytona reunion on an internet stream.
Heard bits and pieces until the XM show. When they came on...I had to subscribe.
