I feel like I'm stuck in my job because of the lifestyle we've created from it. I have a high school diploma and I've worked at the place since I was 17. I worked my way into a sales position and I make GREAT dough but I don't believe my ability to sell building materials coupled with the lack of a college diploma will keep the dough like it is now...and unfortunatlety I've grown accustomed to the perks that come with the dough. The problem is that I work a lot of hours, and my stress level is higher than a cats' ass and its starting to take its toll on me as a person. I feel like I've changd into someone I wouldn't have liked a few years ago, I hate people in general and my marriage is suffering. It doesn't help that my wife turns more and more into her passive agressive cunt mother every day and I HHHATE her mother. I want to walk away from it all but...fuck.

if you know what you want to go for it doesnt hurt to at least try.

hopefully with a new job and more time at home your wife will get better.

sometimes a pay cut is worth your sanity.

you are not the only one red. i have been looking for a less stressful job for a while now even if the pay is less, i will make adjustments. stay strong bro and try talking to your wife and make sure she knows where your head is at. dont take for granted that she "knows what i am going through." often times people really dont.

You're never too old to go back to school. Why don't you check out a course at the local community college or something?

All things I've considered. I've actually got a 4 year university in my hometown. Quitting my job would mean a MAJOR life change and somewhat of I would consider a change in my identity.
