Ewwwwww! Can't possibly be any good. What's wrong with good old beer flavored beer?

You have got to be kidding me!

Are those personal pics or just ones from the interweb? If they are yours, what did you think?

I envision a malty, pseudo-Bloody Mary vibe.

I have heard of stranger things though, and tried some pretty horrid stuff in college.

nothing better than beer with raw clams but beer with clam broth or clamato doesn't sound too good...

i stole those pics from somewhere in the internets. i cannot imagine it being any good, hence the thread. here's a link (http://cruftbox.com/blog/archives/001429.html) for the thoughts of the tester.

i've also heard of folks using clamato for a bloody mary (it has a specific name, but i do not recall) but it doesn't sound nearly as bad as this does.

It's actually very good in a bloody mary.

actually, from wikipedia on the bloody mary (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bloody_Mary_(cocktail)) and variants:

Red Eye, Calgary Red Eye, or Saskatchewan Red Eye
Beer replacing vodka, usually in a 50/50 mixture with the tomato (or Clamato in Canada) juice.

fuckin' canucks!

this sounds nasty. I guess in canada they mix their beer with this shit (clam juice and tomato juice mixture) the same way we mix red bull with vodka?

I think that sounds really good.

One of my favorite drinks in the summer is beer in a salted glass with lime juice and wursteshire sauce mixed in. I think its called a michelada and its very refreshing.

Michelada or "chelada" is of Mexican origin. There are lots of variations. It can be lime and salt in the beer, or some combination of those along with hot pepper, tomato juice, etc. They are extremely popular here in South Texas, since we are indeed 75% Hispanic here and so close to Mexico.

Me no likey.

I can not see this as being anything other than a hangover cure.
