OK so I am sure most of you know it gets cold way up here in the great white north. I have had many a conversation in the chat room in the winter months and have spent some time educating you southerners (and by that I mean anyone below the 55th parallel) in the finer points of converting Celsius to Farenheit. Well here goes another conversion for ya... tomorrow it is forecast to get up as hot as 35*C with a humidex reading of 56*C according to the Weather Network up here. So for all you Fahrenheit ppl that would be equal to....95*F with the humidex at 132.8*F....someone remind me of this when I am posting in February that it is -55*C with the wind chill will ya! (That would be -67*F)

That's freaky! Here in Virginia, it's been in the mid 80's with very little humidity.

It has been above 25C (average) for the past week, hot as all get out. On top of that there have been forest fires just north of us and the smoke is blowing over the city. Makes for some freaky sunsets but man it smells like smoke and with the heat on top of it it just spells disaster for ppl with any sort of breathing problems.
The A/C in our trailer has been going non stop for 5 days.

LOL...Heat update...9:25 AM and it is sitting at 27C....gonna be a long hot day! The forecast bar on Firefox shows a sizzling thermometer alongside the 36C temp! YIKES
I am from the east coast so I am totally not used to heat like this...humidity bring it on but man this sucks the air right out of your lungs.

There is a reason why Bullhead City usually tops the temps in this country..cuz it's hot here.We laughingly refer to the dry heat...well lately the humidity has been abusive I can only speak of the places I've lived;Tampa Fla,Farmington N.M.,Pagosa Springs Co,Manchester N.H.,Anchorage AK,Ardmore OK,Gold Beach OR,Glendale Hts IL. BHC beats the hell out of them all....it is a dry heat though:dry:
