That's a really good question. Of course Angelina is really hot right now (and has been for a few years), but Jon Voight has had a particularly long career with some very punctuating performances.

I think it depends upon perception - If you see a star as someone with acting chops, I think you have to give it to Voight. However, if you are looking at a star as garnering massive public appeal, then Jolie surpasses her father. It's hard to find someone more physically attractive or adored by the media than Angelina Jolie.

Voight is winning right now, but he's just older. Jolie still has to go through her Elizabeth Taylor phase and all that. I think it's gonna be years before we know the answer to this one.
