I had a very Fez-like experience this weekend..

I was hanging out with some of my chick's good friends, whom I know too but not that well. We were all just talking over some drinks about all kinds of random things, you know how like, dreams, memories, current events, Lindsay Lohan, politics, chest hair, crazy cool medallions...

The discussion came to how Dairy Queen has great pumpkin Blizzards but only in the fall, and I posed a question to the group: "Are there any desserts that are appropriate year-round?"

Like I was trying to bring up a topic that we could discuss and get to the bottom of...and the question bombed as much as when Fez tried to start a conversation about "how many lives would it take for you to sacrifice yourself to save them?"

I'm expecting this non sequitur thread to bomb too.

shit, when you said "a fez-like experience" I thought of this guy hitting on me in a casino last month in Vegas while I was waiting for my wife outside the restrooms..my wife thought it was funny,I should feel complimented,I felt....uncomfortable and in need of a makeover of sorts.

I love those Fez conversation starters, but sometimes people don't like getting into it. It's easy to do on a call in show. But harder to so at a bar.
