Correction, he is A man and he doesn't have to be kissing ass all day. When are people going to realize fucking doesn't always have to be replacing f with a ph? In fact, I laugh best when jokes get below the belt and that's a lot of the comedy Ron brings to the table. Just look at how he fucked with ESD with the rehab. It was hilarious, but some of the posters here would have had their hearts broken. Instead, Ron and ESD cracked me up for hours with it.

I'd be happy my favorite show and some peeps supported me at all. Blaming Ron for having fun and giving Stugots some press is insane. He didn't have to do shit but did and constantly does for the fans of the show.

I don't know if you're going to read this, but I'm sorry things didn't work out how you hoped. I arrived very late myself, and the first time I saw Ron was when he was telling reilly about the lack of support. Would I have been one of th verbal supporters had I gotten there earlier? I don't know. I had lots of other things going on, and I kind of forgot about it until I heard reilly and Ron talking about it. It's a little self-absorbed, but I'm just trying to be honest.

No one asked me my opinion on this, but as much as I would like you see you get what you want, I can't help feeling that this setback might be a blessing in disguise. Keep working on the show. Fine tune it into the best show you can, and re-approach for another shot. You may even say to yourself down the line "thank god I didn't get that shot in July of 07. My show is so much better now, and people may have passed judgment on a show that's not as good as it could have been." People only get better at this the more they do it. Don't believe me? I've got some copies of some horrendous early Hideout shows that were buried late night on weekends on WJFK, and you see the product those guys are putting out today.

I'm sorry if you feel this board let you down. I know many of us will still support you and your show regardless of what you decide to do.

(Edit: I just re-read and this may have come off as harsh towards the show. It wasn't meant that way -- far from it. I think the show is really solid, but I think it has the potential to be even better and the product you have to show for it down the line will be even stronger.)

Support poured out online. Ron then said that anyone who sent in emails or sang songs in support of Stugots would result in points taken off for Don's potential 202 spot.

Then, at the VIP Club, allegedly only one person told Ron that they were there to show support for Don Stugots.

Don got upset.

Drama asploded in all directions.

And here we are.
