I just use the "Flashblock (http://flashblock.mozdev.org/)" extension, which takes care of enough of the talky lame ads. Although I've been visiting some sites lately that have these crazy shaking ads, so I might give adblock another shot soon :)

It also has some other cool features like spell check, mouse gestures, and crash recovery. I've been using it about a week and I really like it so far.

you've got spyware my friend, try the windows defender anti spyware from microsoft, it may be able to clean the crap off. Or you could go hard core and try to clean it yourself (http://www.geekstogo.com/forum/How-to-remove-Outerinfo-pop-ups-aka-PurityScan-OIN-t134763.html). I would google search a bit before doing anything, and back up any important files on your PC first.

I tried this for a while and really liked it, but it kept messing up my Myspace. I couldn't figure out a way to keep it from blocking out stuff like my messages and shit.

I've never seen or heard any of the ads listed in this thread. I don't even use Ad-Block.

I am a Firefox user and have an add-on called NoScript. Looking at my NoScript icon there's 2 scripts that are automatically disabled, Adbrite and Alexa. I'm sure if I enable those then those ads will appear.
