I just heard about this, and my legs went numb. Both Antonioni and Bergman, two fantastic filmmakers, are gone.

Now Bergman is playing chess w/ death, I will miss him, but that does sound like an interesting way to pass thru eternity!!!

I adore Antonioni too, the 1rst 3 films in yer list are transcendent viewing experiences & highly hypnotic!!! Zabriskie Point is a brilliant soundtrack too!!!

It's weird. My friend who knows WAY more about artsy fartsy films than I do told me the day Bergman died, "At least Michelangelo Antonioni is still alive. His work is a close second to Bergman's"....

The conclusion is obvious; My friend is actually the Harbinger of Death!

as long as we're making wishes,

David Chase is also still alive.

Chase is just TV.....Marshall is TV AND Movies (like Georgia Rules)

I'm a real big fan of Alan Smithee's body of work.
