I think the concept is a great idea, but it is sad that people care so much about the handbag they have that they would need to rent one to impress others.

Why rent for 5$ a month when you can get those bags brand new for 20$ on Canal Street.

Since I have a penis I don't understand this whole bag thing. My wife has a Burbury purse which cost a couple of hundred. Then she wanted to get a Coach bag which cost like $500. And she gives me a hard time if I want to spend $80.00 on a ticket to the Giants game. She says thats like throwing money away, but the bag is functional.

I took her to the Meadowlands Flea Market one Saturday and we got a counterfeit Coach bag for $15.00. I must say that I'm surprised at how many women have commented on her "Coach" bag. Women can be so shallow. Jokes on them, because I saved myself $485.00 that I can spend on important stuff like sports, gambling and booze.

This website has been around for a while. Tacky, IMO.

When Netflix got big, alot of people tried cashing on the online rental idea. I remember reading about that site either in wired or on wired.com years ago.

cheap? Yes! But a good idea (I guess) think of it this way. How long does a women use the same bag? 6 months, a year etc? then it goes in the closet and never used again. I think if rent one instead of buying one you will save money and not have to keep unused bags that are taking of space.
