No ifs, ands -- and definitely no butts.

A deal has been struck to cover an array of bare backsides on a billboard that was set to go up in Times Square advertising a bidet seat that uses warm water and air.

Now, all that shows are the models' legs and torsos. Their derrieres are cloaked in an advertising slogan for the sponsor -- Toto, maker of the Washlet bidet.

The billboard is wrapped around a building which houses the Times Square Church.

The church went to court to stop the company from putting up a cheekier version of the billboard, one that features naked buttocks with smiley faces on them.

"This is our bottom line," reads the new tush-topping slogan. "Clean is happy. No ifs, ands, or ..."

A lawyer for the interdenominational Times Square Church declined to comment on the settlement.

Toto said the cheeky version will continue to appear online and on Los Angeles billboards.

He's not in trouble or anything...we just try and keep the photo content as "safe for work" as possible so people don't get blocked from the site, which means if you could actually link to the pic instead of posting it, we'd appreciate it.

To make this very simple for everyone: Why do we keep the NSFW off the site?

1) Advertisers. Some do not want to be associated with porn. As soon as you show naked bits, you cross a certain line.

2) Hosting. Some do not want to be associated with porn. As soon as you show naked bits, you cross a certain line. And we like being hosted on the servers we're on (even if we may do a server migration later this summer)

3) Blocking. When we were hosted with Foundry, quite a few members couldn't visit the site due to the fact that Foundry has lots of naughty bits showing. When we went independent 2 years ago (wow, that long ago already?), all of a sudden the site opened up to alot of those people. We want to keep it open to them.

4) The Boys. Last November, (or I think it was. I'd need to check back for exact timeframe) Ron mentioned it during the show that they did not want to be associated with websites showing naughty bits because it reflected on them, and made them look like shock jocks, which is not the type of show they run. They were looking to get indie film makers and politicians and we are considered to be their website (listen to the John Mayer show) and we always respect their wishes.
