I was listening to my iPod on shuffle, and a Fastest Hour from March 2004 (the 12th if you want the specifics), came up. I forgot all about R&F doing this every day. I do miss this quick show. R&F going through the latest news, etc. and making cracks. A lot of great lines from both of them every day.

Did anyone else really like this show?

I loved it cause not only was there a double dose of R&F every day, but it always seemed to synch up with my commuting schedule for school, and then if I missed it it would still always be on at the end of the night shift. The commercial breaks became annoying but once you got used to the rhythm it was fantastic.

Prior to last october all of my exposure to R&F was in 01 & 02. I got back into them in october when I got XM, since I am currently unemployed I've spent a lot of time catching up with the shows in between, which is mostly the JFK days, and I found I really liked the Fastest Hour, the pacing with just the buddy's bouncing the stories off each other was really good, sometimes it's nice not to have callers and just let the two of them have fun.

I have only heard a few of the "fastest Hour" eps via downloads;

I luv 'em...they seem to be one of the segment types that i typically enjoy (back and forth between RB and Fez on specific topics...), and not include the type of stuff that can sometimes get meanderingly repetitive, bogged down....

This is one of the reasons that i kinda prefer that R+F not have too many hours to fill; That seems to lead to more " wow, look who's on paltalk now......Lily's hair looks frizzy today.....etc...."

fastest hours were great, even though it seems R&F view the JFK years as the dark ages.

i remember then celebrating when eric logan got fired, and i'm assuming that's the same E-LO they work with now?

Guess they are in fact, eating cake.
