I'm rockin the farmer's tan! I work outdoors most of the day, and the sun is always on me. My face and forearms have turned a healthy brown, but I took off my shirt and its looks like a big bowl of tapioca pudding. The tan lines at where my short sleeves end are the best though

I still have the one I earned at my husband's outdoor show last month. My arms have faded to a lovely golden brown, but my shoulders would make Powder wince.

At least Farmer's Tan is not as bad as Driver's Tan. That is where one arm gets darker then the other, due to the drive to and from work. You can only stick the left one out the window.

Oh no she won't! F_S gave R_B a decent argument. F_S also has R_B figured out all wrong. R_B was using the SPF factor to prove a point on an unrelated topic. R_B was also feeling a bit paranoid as R_B's father had to deal with a bout of non-malignant skin cancer. She doesn't remember what the medical term is but it was a very common form. R_B's father walked out of the dermatologists office with SPF 55 and a handful of pamphlets explaining the dangers of the sun. R_B recognizes the fact that of all the cancers, skin cancer may be one of the least deadliest, however F_S should know that skin cancer, if not detected early enough can spread to other parts of the body, vital organs included, thus having the potential to become deadly. On a lighter note, R_B is happy to say that she is currently sporting a light-golden non-farmers tan.

R_B believes in the everything in moderation theory/lifestyle. If tanning beds relax F_S and make F_S feel good, a little bit in moderation is ok. R_B's problem is when she sees people who look like the old lady in "Something About Mary" talking about just having to get to the tanning bed, they are addicted. R_B has never been to a tanning bed, she prefers acquiring her tan the old fashioned way.

Oh and on topic I coach youth baseball and sport a great farmers tan and when I go to the beach each summer I never remove my Teva river driver sandles and sport the most awesome "Teva tan" Im famous for it in my family.
