Its peppers with meat and rice and tomatoes and has a brown red sauce. I was expecting some chips, but I got warm tortillas. It was good and hot too (spicy not temp). And I had a Coke.

I don't completely agree with Ron on this. IMO eating meat doesn't equate to the cruelty of dog fighting. And the fact that it's not as widespread as the media is making it out to be doesn't change the fact that it's despicable. IF Vick is convicted I hope they throw the book at him.

The reason people stop to pet dogs and not pet people is because pets are like children, it's the nurturing instinct of the human. That's all pets are to people, children who never grow up. People will stop to ask about a baby or a child.

Which is why, as the last caller said, violence to a child or a pet, hits people harder than violence to an adult. The child or domesticated pet are protected by the adults, and having an adult do something different is antithetical to people.

Well, the head of the Atlanta chapter of the NAACP stood up for Vick (to a point) and used a stupid football analogy to do so. He said that "piling on" was a penalty in football, and he's "throwing a flag" on the feds for "piling on."

What? Hmm, ahh... I don't know. Look I was just wondering what you would rather have for your family? A safe and friendly neighborhood or a city full of well lets just say crime? See, I thought so. But, don't get the wrong idea we all have bad parts of the places where we live and raise our kids, it just seems bigger cities have more of the problem, could just be more people. But, I don't think so. any way Have a great day, buddy see ya manyana I think thats Spanish for tomorrow. Lunch and Language can't ask for much more. Later

Thats a slam dunk, I would rather have a safe neighborhood to raise a kid in, but even these "safe" suburban area's the crimes are worse, or at least precieved that way. b/c it happens less out there. I think it comes down to being sensitized or desentized to the problem. have a good one

Well, the head of the Atlanta chapter of the NAACP stood up for Vick (to a point) and used a stupid football analogy to do so. He said that "piling on" was a penalty in football, and he's "throwing a flag" on the feds for "piling on."

Utter bullshiit, and compltely inapplicable, but he tried.

ohhh yea, I heard that too, half assed effort on that. Im throwing a flag on Rev Al 15 yrds for impersonating a community leader

I think the hayseed angle comes mostly from Clinton Portis--his whole 'i'm from Mississippi and you can down any back road and find a dog fight.'

Remember Vick was busted in Norfolk/Newport News/Hampton/VA Beach, which is in the top 25 cities in the nation. It's southern, but it's a big town (remember they were one of the options for the Expos). Dog fighting is just huge here in Baltimore, too. A dog fight was a major story arc in the third season of The Wire, which predates all this junk by a couple of years.
