My wife has a friend from work who just moved out of state. Since she left she got pregnant and had her child just a few days ago (married, nuclear family, all that..).
Just yesterday we got the first pictures of the baby, including several of the "first" shots that were taken in the delivery room. In one of these shots, the cameraman went in for the first shot of the happy family. Mother, father, and baby are all smiling and look happy. Then my wife notices that the photographer for this shot didn't quite keep the lens aimed high enough, and there for all who notice it, is this poor girl's snatch, fresh from delivery, the whole area blood spattered like she had been driving it with missing mudflaps. Although it was certainly not intentional, it is noticeable, and it's the only thing you see once it's been pointed out.
Would you send her an email pointing this out? they obviously missed it, or they would have omitted the picture or at least tried to photoshop it out. The email we got was the same one that was forwarded to quite a few family members and friends.

Only one thing to do: Laff and Laff.
Seriously, have your wife discretely point it out her friend, lest she send it out again.

I might post the pic, assuming I think about it later and have the time to block out all the faces. I will then officially know that I have run out of other stuff to do. What a great feeling that will be...

When my friends brother's wife had a baby he took pictures of her hemorroids. It was in a book everything was out her snatch her tits everything it was kinda gross, but she said it was natural. I would never do something like that. I think he even had a pic of the afterbirth.

The afterbirth is delivered after the baby is born. It looks like a big bag of poop.

You sound like a pretty open-minded person maybe you should do the photoshop and just hang onto it for awhile..that way If it comes up yer prepared...otherwise you can at least have it for yerself...remembering that I'm personally 49 years old and pretty much old-school here,I just think that's not such a good thing, some stuff should just NOT be shared or made sport of(not that YOU were)...now those Courtney Love pix..those WERE funny.-Wil

When my daughter was born, I went over to another part of the delivery room with the nurse while she cleaned my daughter up, weighed her and measured her and such. I heard the doctor talking about delivering the placenta, but thankfully, I didn't have to witness it first hand.
Oh, and for luvafroshows, there's really no point in telling her. The damage has already been done. I'm sure either someone else has already alerted her, or she just doesn't care in the first place.

Seeing how "being there" has become mandatory for some reason make sure you stand in position beside the head of the bed facing her feet. Won't see a thing. If a doctor tells you to move punch him.

I thought that too but when it's your wife I think you look at things a bit differently. Besides, you can't mess around with her for at least six weeks after delivery which gives you time to get real horny.

Unreal, I have delivered three babies in my career as a paramedic, not only did I deliver the baby, but the after birth too, but even worse; i had a too eat after we were having roast beef. Rare.....Its a part of life! GROW UP.
about the pics, its pretty funny....you should put them on christmas cards. jk. Im sure you all would have a good hardy chuckle about it.

now that i think back to it, it was pretty gross. but at the time, its the most beautiful thing in the world.

After further thought I pretty much agree that it would be pointless and embarassing to tell her now, especially since they sent an apology email.
We have our first baby coming early next year, so all of this hits closer to home than it would have a scant few months ago. I can't imagine being in the room while this is all going on. I get panic attacks and even pass out at even the detailed discussion of physical pain, much less blood, screaming, etc. My most recent such event occurred as I tried to sit through a bloody UFC pay-per-view. How the hell am I going to stay conscious for this????????? My wife has implored me to be strong for her and I know that's my job there, I jut can't imagine how I'm going to pull it off.

i dont like the sight of blood, but to see your child being born is something that your body will force itself to handle.
besides, your wife will be going through absolute hell. you need to be aware and strong for her.

It's not as bad as you think. The part when the baby actually comes out only lasts a matter of seconds. And, as someone pointed out earlier, you don't really have to see any more than you want to.

And I absolutely want to, but I am not sure I can. If I don't make it, I will be out cold in the floor of the delivery room.

Whatever the intention of those pictures, all it did was make me hungrier than I am. But I guess when you've been awake for hours, haven't eaten and have the taste for meat, it makes sense.
I wish I was at home in Jersey so I could grill up a steak.
