Caring That You Don't Care

Does anyone else kind of have this problem? You don't care. You're generally apathetic about everything. You just like letting things slide, just coast if possible.

However, you should care. And you know you should care. You should be more concerned with work or life or whatever. But no matter how hard you try or know you should or want to or attempt to, you can't push yourself into the point where you can bother to give a shit.

I've been an undergrad for nine years, so um yeah I'd say I get that feeling a lot.

I'm like that, to a point.

When I watch Dexter, he reminds me a lil of myself, when he has to force himself to perform the social graces. Sad thing is, he KNOWS why he's like he is... I have no idea.

Sometimes it bothers me that I dont care more. But mostly, I'm ok with it.

And yes... sometimes I feel exactly this way. And I ask myself WHY and vow to make drastic changes... but sometimes it seems easier to live in the rut and just try to make it more homey.

Working on fixing this. We shall see.....
