amazing. There is a lot of talk at the bag about people wanting to buy copies. I know if they printed a bunch, I would buy one.

I would spend most of my time looking for anthony's post where he said, "This is the great thread ever." I think Jay Mohr also posted in there once.

This was RMPGP's baby and he deserves alot of the credit for coming up with the idea, collecting money and really pushing to get this thing done.

Also Billy Liar did a fucking AMAZING job with the layout and design!!!
When the idea was first thrown out there and he said he would take the "job" I couldnt have dreamed it would come out so professional and beautiful.

Also big props to liddy for putting together a terrific foreword.

If we were gonna do it, wanted to do it right. Had about 5 different covers that got kicked around. Theres been alot of demand for a copy so going to see what we can do to put one out there (have to abide by XM's laws etc). Again this wasnt to outdue anyone on any level, the line of the day started at WB we just wanted to pay tribute. Alot of Baggers are here too... (as post 1000 nears)

Is your elbow and shoulder sore from patting yourself on the back?

(And for the record, Burble - the reason why I'm singling your ass out is that you do not get away with bashing this place for calling it a shithole in a few separate occasions and use me as a baseless accusation of driving people away, and then come in here and try to accept accolades for a gift while pumping yourself up. Not happening.)

What the fuck is WRONG with you, Matty?

First of all, in the one instance of the "driving people away" comment, he had NO idea that we were friends and that you calling me an alkey was simply a common theme .... and who could blame him? He doesn't know your relationship with me and he is one of my favorite people on WB .... and being a good person he just called you out on what we ALL know is your Super Condescending Obnoxious Board persona.

Second, he is not 'accepting accolades" ... but merely contributing to a discussion about a Fantastic book which he had a hand in the creation of. He is here to represent another board as an ambassador and friend to the show. And so why wouldn't he volunteer information??

Finally, I seriously think you should try to curb your personality a little bit. I love you as a budday, but lately you are really reaching here on the board. I love a good scrappy fight... but you really should refrain from attacking new board members. Stick to what you know... Moe, Spoon, Me.... etc. Because by doing THIS.... you will drive new friends away, and thus become a self fulfilling prophesy.

And.... scene....

I think we at Ron& Fez.net so far are showing we are honest and about the show...It does not matter who thought of it or which board!! ....The results are Ron loved it .And so did ALL the fans of the show........I have never been to wackbag..I'm sure they are great people and great fans of the show...Is that not what message boards about a radio show are about????? Making people listen and smile at the host being happy???

Tracey, this really had nothing to do with you. The young man, on several occassions, has posted comments here about how shitty this board has become, and then on one of his last visits here, singled ME out as a driving force that has made people leave the board. Ambassador, my ass. The only person who can be considered an "ambassador" is Mikey.

I don't call people out or go after people unless they do something very specific to draw my ire. And even if I do, there's an ignore button people can use. It's worked for me for people like Midkiff and SOS, and if you need to use me as an example of why you can't post on a message board, then you've got bigger problems than my attitude.

I asked Burble for a list of people I've driven away from her. Surprisingly, he can't come up with one.

This was a very nice gift that WB gave to Ron and as you can see, I commended them on it. But you absolutely cannot piss on a board but then come back when they speak highly of you and think it'll be OK.

And I'd also like to apologize for the above comments. This is a really good thing that a group of people did, and they should be rightly commended for it. I was just annoyed about something and like I always do, I made a point about it instead of letting it drop. I shouldn't be detracting from a thread with childish squabbles.

Their great work made me feel ashamed to be a part of the flagship board of the show and be completely out shined by them..

Hold on there. Each board gets their time in the sun, and there was absolutely no reason for us to horn in on what they did. FBA took the lead on Fez's heart attack anniversary, and I think we did a damned fine job with our Christmas gifts last year. Ron's LOTD is something that WB has so uniquely made their own, and they did a great job in memorializing that. That's theirs and theirs alone. Congratulations on a job well done.
