Anyone know what the deal is with the High Society show with Bronx Johnny and Pepper? I listened to some of their clips from the myspace and they were great. I would love to hear them on 202, maybe from 3-6 instead of the tedious replay of O&A?

hey, try looking at threads (http://www.ronfez.net/forums/showthread.php?t=62300&highlight=bronx&page=2) from a whole hour and 20 minutes prior before starting new versions of the same thing. also, it's needless to slam friends of the show like this.

Yeah, your a dick. Why is it that when anyone says anything about O&A people freak out? In the thread yo sent me to some says of Bronx Johnny and Pepper "fuck em", with not a word from you. When I mention O&A, you act like I have burned a flag or something.

All I wanted to know, is whether anyone knew anything new about the show - it sounds good, and it would be nice to have some variety o 202. Sorry if I violated your idea of decorum here at ronfez.net - I figured with the lack of traffic on this site lately a new thread might get some discussion going.

Next time I will ask you if it's OK before I post.

not to sound like an asshole, but do you know that 3-6 is afternoon drive? o&a want to get people to listen on their way home from work. why would they give up that slot to two guys who have done 2 podcasts. i have liked what i have heard and wish bronx johnny and pepper luck, but thinking they could get on at that time slot is retarded.

As for the 3-6 thing, I think you missed my point. What I was getting at was the fact that I dont want to hear anymore O&A than I have to.

I gotta agree with you on that one. Any ida how they delect what gets airplay on the weekends? There are lots of good choices out there, Bronx Johnny,Patrice, Vos, Bill Burr, The list goes on. Seems like the musical hour thing gets a lot more play than the other stuff. Is it because they are O&A's guys?

It's because that's an hour that there's not much else going on so they give their staff a bit of fun in an hour leading into their big weekend block. I doubt they'd extend the weekend shows to start at 8 because 9 is when a three hour block is already scheduled and they can't have a three hour show go till 11 because XM doesn't want anything to run over midnight. But I could be wrong, I don't have a mic in front of me.

first, i took cougarjake's post as a joke, not a legitimate slam. maybe i was wrong, but i don't think he has ill feelings towards johnny and the rest. i also thought your attack was unneeded for what your thread was about. it wasn't because you slammed o&a in particular (check out my more tongue in cheek response here (http://www.ronfez.net/forums/showthread.php?t=62367&highlight=jivin), for example). i didn't say you couldn't post what you did, you can post whatever you want until someone with authority (ie, not me) says otherwise.
