I have been thinking of this for awhile I wondered what everyone else was thinking?

Ron said his XM has expired when he tried to listen to Fez on O&A because he hasn't used it in so long.

I sort of disappointed that Ron doesn't listen to XM since it is such a good product but,

Opie talked about listening to Ethel and Lucy and got rid of his Ipod when Lazlow was on.

This made me happy. What do you guys think?

I think it's more about Ron's lifestyle than the XM product.

I don't see him listening to an Inno or an Ipod while walking around the city; Ron might listen in his car, but he doesn't seem to drive too frequently (I bet that is where he found out his XM has expired); when he's at home, Ron's probably hanging with his family, watching TV, etc.

On the other hand, Opie listens to music while roller blading, working out, walking through the city, etc. It's just part of his lifestyle.

I doesn't make either of them a bad person... :smoke:

The thing about this that make me angry is that Ronnie doesn't have a free lifetime subscription. Fuckin' cheap bastards!

Yeah what is that? I would assume they would just give free subscriptions to workers.. especially on-air talent. Anthony always says how he pays for subscriptions for his sister and the rest of the fam. Crazy

XM lately seems to be way too much like terrestrial radio, cheap and petty, with billboard-dictated programming. It sucks that as they emerge as a company they can't recognize that it's the free-form/indie radio fans that really like them. As soon as they start going ACR - I'm done. Why pay for something you can get for free?

When he first said that, my first thought was that it probably didn't even expire. He probably just didn't have his radio on for a long time, and it needed to be reset.

Exactly Papabear- you have to use it I think lioke 24 hours a month otherwise you get some sort of error message and you cant listen.
I've never encountered it but I've heard about it- I bet thats what Ron ran into.
I'm sure they have a lifetime sub.

These guys are in the joke business. The last thing they want is no humor.

i listen to XM all the time. I agree that Ron walking around with ear bubs on is out of character for him.
