It has been announced that White House strategist Karl Rove is resigning at the end of August.

Two years ago this would have been exciting news, but now it's just kinda boring. What is there to say? I dislike the guy, as I don't appreciate his politics or his approach to them. However he was successful at winning...

Apparently he is moving to Texas and writing a book.

It's for one of 2 reasons, shit is about to hit the fan, and they need the "He no longer works for us" angle or he's getting behind one of the candidates and needs to focus on that. Fred Thompson is the only one I can see him supporting, figurehead, makes a great puppet. More likely he's probably prepping a genetically superior candidate in a lab somewhere.
