Hey Buddays,
I'm driving down to D.C. for the live RF show/Jim Norton Unmasked taping. Anyone have any suggestions on where to stay? I've been to D.C. a few times and was thinking about staying on the outskirts of D.C. and just taking a bus in for the day. Is parking in D.C. impossible? Will my car get stolen?
Thanks

The answer to both is, depends on where you are.

You could just park at a metro for the day, car would be fine

I live in DC and I have one piece of absolutely essential advice for you -- DO NOT stay at any of the hotels on NY Ave that are close to XM -- they are absolute shitholes and super sketchy.
XM's station is on the red line, which basically means you can stay anywhere in DC and take the metro to get there.

XM Studios are on the Red Line, which you can catch in MD at stops in Silver Spring, Bethesda or Wheaton. Or you can catch an orange/blue line train in NoVa and transfer to Red Line, it's not hard to navigate.
Maybe try to find a hotel near the listener gathering if you plan on going.
