Anybody who is on record saying his dream job would be on a station with Hoo Hoo Howie and O&A isn't interested in good radio, just playing both sides to keep himself employed.

Opie made an offhand comment on O&A a while back about how Bubba might be the odd man out in the merger. It made me wonder if it was just something he was saying to annoy Bubba, or some real info he'd gotten.

The thing is that I never see any sort of heat or traction for Bubba's show. I mean, you might think that XM don't give R&F the love they deserve, but try to find any mention of Bubba in Sirius' promotional material at all.

Bubba really doesn't get any promotion at all, besides from what is mentioned on the Stern show. I could see Bubba getting thrown to the side in the event of a merger, but sadly I can see R&F getting the same treatment. I have a feeling that there won't be any change like that cause it just doesn't make sense to do. Its not like ratings matter, so why alienate listeners.

Bubbas show is funny at times, they do some ridiculously outlandish shit on there as well, a lot of it just doesn't appeal to me (a lot of nascar talk, souther sports teams, etc) but I could see how it would appeal to people in the southern states.
