so...here's what i was thinking....im nervous about driving my car alone to the compound at night, and leaving alone.

i can take a cab to xm.....thats easy. and i'll be comign from downtown dc so it wont' be far. but i dunno much about getting a cab from xm to dremos in that area at night. anyone know if a cab is an option from XM? and if its really far? or if its doable?

Getting a cab might be difficult, the studio isn't exactly in a great area (and by that I mean there isn't anything near it, not that its overly dangerous). Taking the metro is an option, and isn't too hard.

I am taking my car to the Friday Unmasked (I can't make it to the show) at the XM compound - anyone that can squeeze into my Nissan Sentra is welcome to hitch a ride back to Dremos afterwards. I am sure there are other DC regulars that can be counted on for the same - maybe not enough for everyone, but I'm sure we can try.

We always hang out outside anyway so just look for the biggest group out there.

I'm in like flynn for the R&F all day caper (show and Unmasked). I think I'm going to park in NoVA and METRO in (familiar with DC, but doubt I won't be drinking a bit and the Metro area is getting tight in regards to drinky drinky and vroom vrooming). Anyone walking to the METRO afterwards, I can lead you to the promise land.

Can't wait to hit "The Bar formerly known as Bardos" (Dremos)...haven't been there in quite some time.

Wow tonight will def. be interesting now. I didn't know Ron and Fez would actually go to Dremos!...and thanks Fairplay just announced the party at the Ballroom I was talking about earlier this week.

I am headed to Dremos first and then not going to head over until 10. By then the line will be out of control. Maybe the buddays will let me sneak in with them!...of course Ronnie might hate me because I said Dremos is a good idea because it will be a happening place tonight.

I had a fantastic day yesterday. The show was great, unmasked was unbelievable...I am still going over it all in my head...Ron is amazing. No notes, so natural and comfortable interviewing...it blew me away.
It was great to see so many people, and meet new amazing people.

It was great seeing everybody and meeting a lot of new people as well. It was a great turnout. Thanks especially to everyone who came from so far away: Don Stugots, HTG, the group from Pittsburgh, etc.

If I wasn't such a pussy, I would've met Skelly and actually talked to Ron, Fez, Party Guy and Pitz. My biggest shame is that the party guy chant failed at Dremo's.

Highlight of the night: Standby getting Flair-chopped (twice) by Johnny Fairplay in exchange for a picture.

Bar night was a blast - the best one in DC, pre and post FNL. Just a great mesh of people - Bitz to Pitz; Happy Typing Girl to Halloween Goddess; does anybody remember Jafter?; Skellington and Stugots hugging it up - excellent morphing of the eras and worlds - FBA, Wackbag, RF.net all hanging - everyone there with a shared love for the show - speaking of love, my favorite moment was maybe Fez teaching some people how to "love...love...love..."

Jen was the queen, and Bobo was the king of the night - and Johnny Fairplay couldn't get enough of either of them (or Earl!) - Bobo did a great job of pulling it together, btw; waiting by the road to make sure people knew where to find us. He even, somehow, controlled the weather - we took over the back area of Dremos, it was so nice outside.

SPECIAL thanks, of course, to Ron and Fez for taking the time to come on our and hang - after a long, exhausting day, it was really appreciated.

:sad: Damn, :wallbash: Just my bad luck that my previous engagement unfortunately had to fall on the same night as the bar night. Which is what kept from getting there so late and missing out on all of the fun and not too mention meeting all the good folks that came down. At least I got to meet one new person, HTG it was nice meeting you. I was also glad to see that Tom the cop and Jafter and one other person were still there hanging out when I finally got to Dremo's on Friday night. I was looking forward to finally meeting Stugots and all of the other fine folks who made it out. I'm especially sad I missed hanging out and seeing the buddays Ron and Fez at Dremo's.
I'm just grateful that at the very least I was able to attend the Unmasked show with Bob Saget the next day. Ron did an excellent job of Interviewing him and was looking good to boot. Just like the ZZtop song he was a "Sharp dressed Man" on Saturday.

A Big Thank You to Bobo for setting everything up on Friday, :clap: There's a reason you're called :king: Bobo. Your doing an excellent job with the bar nights budday!!!
