I am the caller from 8/15. I am a surgeon with a Norco( stronger than Vicodin) habit of 30-40 pills/day. I read all the replies calling BS on me, I only wish. I did want more of a gentle reception from Ron than what I received, but that is probably what I need. I have managed to contonue a VERY successful practice during this time, You get used to the effects of the drugs. Am I ashamed?-absolutely. Do I want to quit?-yes. When you can get an unlimited supply of drugs with no questions asked, it is toooo easy. Thanks to Ron for bringing me back to some sense of reality- I hope it will help me. For now, either abuse me or wish me success. I know I desrve one-probaly not the other.

Welcome to the board. I hope you get the help you desperately need. Ron was probably a little tougher than you expected because
A) you're putting your patients at risk by hiding so severe of an addiction and continuing to practice
B) you're going to die or find yourself in some serious trouble if you continue on your current path. You've acknowledged that you can't do it yourself, but won't seek treatment because you don't want to let others know your problem, so it looks like nothing will change. Maybe a kick in the pants from Ron is what you need to do something about it. I suspect it will require more than that. Hopefully it won't take a medical board inquiry into the death or serious injury to one of your patients. If all you say is true, you need serious help.

Out of curiosity, how are you able to get an unlimited supply of the drugs? Even as a doctor, I thought they had pretty stringent safeguards in place to prevent this kind of thing.

Hey Buddays just an FYI.

I did a focus group yesterday for music programing. After listening to 700 Rock song snipits in 2 hours i got to a sheet that asked about O&A and our buddays R&F. I think we know what company was doing this. To me it means our phone calls to K-Rock are working. We need to keep it up and support our buddays whenever we can.

I am proud of all of us and I hope we can get them back on FM Radio.

I don't think XM has even played the FIRST session of "Unmasked" yet. I thought they were being recorded for the comedy channel, so they would get first crack.

There isn't anything on the XM site about Unmasked, so that is a big reason I don't think it has played yet.

If I am wrong and the first one already aired, please let me know. I have been looking forward to it and would hate to have missed it.
