Is Shawn Michaels ever coming back?

With all the hype over the return of Triple H soon, I was just wondering where HBK is and when he's coming back. I did some searches, but I'm not finding any concrete info on why he left or when (if at all) he's coming back.

Well.. How long did it take Trips to come back?? 6 8 months?? And Shawn got hurt like 2 3 months after trips.. So i would say its gunna be a while..

So, he actually did get hurt? I didn't know that. I just thought it was part of the storyline with Randy Orton putting him out of action.

Yea.. He blew out his knee, so they used the Orton thing to i guess, make him look less old or something..

Michaels has needed knee surgery for a long while now. He was actually going to leave back around February or March, but Triple H got hurt so they asked him to stay around for a while. Shawn will be back around October or November as far as I know. Just after Undertaker and around the time or just before Edge.

He hurt it in early 06 and was gona have the surgery after what was suposed to be a temporary reforming of dx in the summer. But when the reunion got over so huge with the fans he stayed on the roster since he would be working mostly tag matches with HHH.
