TMZ and Perez Hilton are reporting that Nick Hogan, Hulk Hogan's son, was involved in a serious car crash in Florida earlier this evening. Apparently the SUV he was in lost control and hit a tree, totalling the SUV and that the Jaws of Life had to be used.

This is not the first time of a vehicular mishap for Nick; he was also involved in the destruction of a very fancy sports car before.

BTW, Fallon and I were discussing this seriously in IM for about 5 minutes before the jokes began, so we're not total cads.

BTW, if Nick Hogan does die from this, he'll just be resurrected by the Dungeon of Doom as The Yeti.

Apparently, after the SUV crashed, Nick was fine.

Until he fell off the top of Cobo Hall.

When paramedics went to remove the Young Hogan's shirt, his vitals normalized long enough for him to tear off his shirt, and give a quick nod acknowledging the EMT's on the right side as the most appreciative fans.

He then slipped back into a coma.

I tried to find the words for this tragedy..... and it came to me in a vision to use the Hulksters words to say what many can't put in to words....

"I read it in the papers, I saw it on TV.
I guess there'll be one empty seat,
When I wrestle at Wimblelee.
I used to tear my shirt,
But now you've torn my hearts.
I knew you were a Hulkamaniac,
Right from the very start (Right from the start)

You were my friend. (You were my Son)
I'll see you again. (This is not the end)
When the Hulkster comes to Heaven (Heaven, heaven, heaven)
We'll tag up again. (Again, again)
The world just lost another Hulkamania (A friend to the end, I'll see you again)
I wish Hulk's love could bring you back again.
You were my friend (You were my Son)
And I'll see you again (I will see you again)
When I climb back in the ring, I know we'll win this fight.
I wish you were here at ring side, to cheer me on tonight.
The spotlight now grows dim, and now it's not on me.
The prayers we've said together are still our guarentee.

You were my friend (You, were, my, friend)
I'll see you again.
(The world just lost, the world just lost, my friend, he's my friend)
You were my friend (You..... were)
I'll see you again (I'll seeeeee you)
When the Hulkster comes to heaven (Heaven, heaven)
We'll tag up again (Again)
The world just lost (Just lost) another Hulkamaniac.
I wish Hulk's love could bring you back again (Bring you back, bring you back again)
The world just lost (Just lost) another Hulkamaniac.
I with Hulk's love (His love) could bring Nick back again (His love)
(You were my friend)

The story is that either Nick was "revving" with a friend of his and they both did a burnout from a stoplight, OR Nick hit some water, hydroplaned, and that's what caused the accident.

He wasn't doing 180 MPH, and the Supras aren't exactly known for their durabilty, which is why the car basically shattered.

I don't mean just checking shit like that...they should, though they likely won't...I just mean generally accounting for everyone in the car by not driving like a jackass. Just because "everyone is young and dumb" (which is way too broad and false a generalization) at some point doesn't somehow make this totally a freak accident where the passenger is more to blame than anyone else by not wearing the seatbelt. When it's car accident, it's pretty much all on a driver.

I have to agree. I don't drive with certian people I know because of the way they drive. It make me nervous. So I drive places myself or I drive them with me.

If I am forced for some odd reason to drive in someone else's car and they drive like an asshole, I let them know I don't like the way they drive and I always wear my belt. That stupid belt is my only defense.

As long as drugs or alchohol wasn't involved, they'll plead it down. The passenger wasn't wearing his belt, so it's not like Nick hit someone outside of the car who had no control of the situation.

EDIT:

Oof, I saw they got him on a low-level booze charge because he was under 21. I'll bet 20 bucks right now that the defense is that the passenger bought the booze.

It's not a defense, but a chance to lessen the overall charge. Buying the booze, drinking with the kid and then getting into the car with the kid without the seatbelt = major problems.

And besides, they're going to be hard pressed to make that low of a BAC stick, especially with the lawyers Hogan can afford. It wasn't like he was 3x over the legal limit.

Wouldn't that be a major proiblem for the kid in the coma, supplying booze to a minor? What would that have to do with hogan's defense?Yeah the passenger made bad decisions, but I don't think it's illegal to get in a car with someone who's been drinking, just to be the one driving.

The no seatbelt I can see, the injuries may not have been as bad if he was wearing a belt but it doesn't change the fact the Hogan is underage and drove/street raced with booze in his system.

And besides, they're going to be hard pressed to make that low of a BAC stick, especially with the lawyers Hogan can afford. It wasn't like he was 3x over the legal limit.

He's a minor so he shouldn't have any alcohol in his system at all. No matter how low.

Correct. They're going to have a really hard time sticking some of these charges on him because...

1) My point about the alcohol is that Hogan's lawyers can probably get that thrown out because the alcohol level is so low. For all they know Nick sprayed his mouth with binaca or something.

2) The passenger wasn't wearing his seatbelt.

You know what? That's just stupid and bad reporting. It was his mother, in 2005. She wasn't behind the wheel of this incident.

And notice how the article failed the mention the friend WASN'T WEARING HIS SEATBELT.

I don't understand why you keep tossing that out there like it trumps everything. Yes, the guy made a moronic mistake and paid for it by not just clicking his seatbelt buckle, but the responsibility for the safety of everyone in the car in terms of not fucking crashing while street racing like a moron falls to the driver. Seatbelts are no kind of sure thing when someone is so blatantly defying basic driving safety like that and totaling their car.

now its doesnt condone nor absolve what hogan jr did

but they will argue that he knew what situation he was getting into ( street racing, knew the guy who was driving and his passion for racing ( hogan jr ) and made the conscious decision to not wear a seatbelt, which hogan jr did and survived the crash with minor injuries or whatever he had or didnt have so if the friend also wore a seatbelt he'd be fine today, alledgedly

and tahts what will help hogan jr in this case

Wow, the victim's lawyers' response was a bit of a shock after hearing Hulk & Nick talk about how this guy was like a member of the family. I thought the state was pushing for Nick to get the time, but apparently the family is (& rightly so) PISSED. And the damage done to Nick's friend is horrifying. It's hard to understand how someone could look like that on the outside & not have done enough damage inside to have been killed. Very sad stuff.

So I guess poor little Nick gets out tomorrow.

Here's a recent post by his tranny sister :

All I ask, is instead of making this harder, and putting evil things out there, you pray for John and for us, and leave words of inspiration. I know- like I know -like I know- John is gonna walk out of that hospital and things will be ok again. I know his strength and I know he can do it with our prayers...... To all the people who have been supportive- It has helped MORE than you will ever know. I can not thank you enough.....Please pray for my brothers safety too... this is a really tough time he has gone through and I know all he wants to do is show you, John and his family how much he cares and understands.

ok. Back to the happy stuff! .......I just can't wait to see my Nicky! Im gonna make him every kind of food you can possibly think of! Hes been living on bread an potatoes so far and I know some mac'n'cheese is gonna hit the spot! LOL

Only bread and potatoes huh ?

You fat bitch. That other kid hasn't eaten anything that doesn't come through a tube since the last time he hung out w/ your brother.

Hulk Hogan's son Nick appeared in court yesterday regarding a lawsuit related to his 2007 2007 car crash that left friend John Graziano permanently brain damaged.

While giving a deposition, Hogan was probed by lawyers for the plaintiffs about dysfunction and “issues” in the Graziano family. According to RadarOnline, Nick had told the lawyers that there was violence in the Graziano family and the Hogans talked about having John Graziano move in with them.

When a lawyer asked about what type of issues John was dealing with, Nick said that John hated certain types of people. Upon further questioning from the lawyer, Nick clarified who John Graziano hated. “Homos," Nick said. "He wanted to kill homos.”

The room grew silent and one lawyer put his head in his hands.

John Graziano's father Edward sued the Hogans after the 2007 car crash. Edward was later arrested on charges of trying to kill his wife and recently had his home foreclosed on, according to the Radar report.

What a lovely story.

Please tell me you're not putting any credibility into the claim that the kid wanted to " kill homos " ?

It's probably a ploy by the Hogan douche to paint the kid in another light, you know other than being a vegetable through no fault of his own.

Even if he did say those words or felt that way, and even if his dad was a nutcase, that doesn't and sure as hell shouldn't make a difference in this case.

I'm not sure if that was a plaintiff lawyer putting his head in his hands because he thought the " revelation " was damaging or if it was either a plaintiff or defendant lawyer doing so as in an " Oooof " because it wasn't relevant.
