I have been exposed to so much new entertainment since I started listening to R&F.For example I just watched The Proposition because of mentions on the show. I have started reading comics like Y:The Last Man and Ex Machina because of the Brian K. Vaughn interviews they have done. Like Fat_Sunny I have also been exposed to all kinds of new music by the show.

What kind of things have you discovered because of listening to R&F ?

Mostly music and movie recomendations. I think I like R&F because I share their tastes and have been in tune with much of what interests them so we are speaking the same language.
Example
Got to like and appreciate Warren Zevon's music more then I did

I used to live my like like a fool. Then one day I turned on The Ron and Fez show and heard the words of a prophet...

"Dessert is part of the meal."

My life was forever changed from that day forward.

Some of the music choices for sure - a lot of Lou Reed and Nick Cave in the loop now.

I always like when Ron mentions a movie, usually an older one, being shown on the big screen like the Two Boots Theater or Film Fourm. I'll make a note and end up going that week. I just recently saw Manhattan at the Film Fourm because it was mentioned.

I can’t even describe how much I owe Ron and Fez when it comes to changing things about me and what I watch/listen to...

Just to name a few:

Movies: Bottle Rocket, Pope of Greenwich Village, Mean Streets, Waiting for Guffman..

TV Shows: Big Brother (I’m a freaking addict now, I even own the feeds), Dexter

Music: Rolling Stones (I honestly never listened to a Stones cd before listening to the show), Patti Smith… I wish I had a notebook to write some of the music they play down because I like a lot more than I remember to download later.

Most importantly, I finally found a website I can read every day and find people who I consider like-minded and good natured. I love ronfez.net – it is my go to site now. No homo.

The biggiest Culture 'rub off' for my would be a tie for 2 things.

1) Cigars.
I don't smoke them but I buy them and have my wife store them

2) Jelly
I now go through a jar of jelly a week
